Just wanted to show these old pictures from back in the day. Sorry for the quality, but what do you expect from pictures that have been inside a wallet for over 35 years.

This one is of myself and my little brother holding supper, I mean a Diamondback.

This is my little brother and sister holding one of our Indigos.

Yes, I have been around herps all my life.

Actually, my Dad brought this home for dinner, we just posed with it before cleaning it.

    Day/Night Cycle?
Ahhh, well, that makes all the difference then! I was hoping your parents didn't encourage you to go hunting for rattlesnakes! I hear rattlers make good chili. :)

Actually they discouraged it.....But it never stopped up once we got old enough to do it safely. Never had rattlesnake in chili, we allways just had it fried, kinda like chicken.

Good questions, Mike! Also...how boney are they? I would imagine there'd be even more bones to contend with than there is in catfish!

Skin it, gut it, and cut up in chunks. Then fry or deep fry in any batter of your choice. Bones, well....Lot's of rib's, but dont remember having much trouble with them. And they do have a decent amount of meat to them.
