    how hard is it to get rid of mites im just woundering so i can write it down in my journal so i have it just in case

    Depends on how quickly you catch, but most people will treat for mites for around 60 days i believe, even though once treating mites you will see dead ones, there may still be eggs so a longer treatment is needed.

    if your american i would suggest PAM (provent-a-mite)

    if your not then i would suggest callington mite spray,
    just read the instructions on the can and follow them and do EXACTLY what they say.

    Also put the snake on to white paper towels, and thoroughly clean the enclosure every 4 days, it is also your decision whether or not to soak the snake to remove dead mites.
