Took some doing.. but they're home! :) (pic heavy)
So, I finally got my het clown pair home! Shipping was a bit of a nightmare... they were sent via reptile express and were supposed to be sent via air for overnight shipping ... but whoever was loading the dock in Toronto loaded them onto ground freight... so it took some driving back and forth to Thunder Bay (about 7 hours driving -.-) and they spent an extra day in their shipping box, but they are finally home :)
I absolutely love them, I think they're beautiful! The male is really shy - first BP I've actually handled who's lived up to the BP name and actually curled up into a tight little ball. The female on the other hand has a personality :D She hisses and strikes like mad, tagged me once while I was unpacking them and snapping a few pictures before putting them in their tubs. Was my first bite - if you can even call it that - she caught my finger, but didn't draw blood which is why no pictures :P
Pictures of course are kind of terrible as they were taken with my phone, and it kept trying to focus on the floor, not on the snakes -.- But here's what I have of them so far, I hope you enjoy :)

I know he's headless in this picture, but it's a pretty good representation of his colours.

And the Female Het. Clown
She has a bunch of flaky, 'stuck shed' looking scales. I'm assuming they're just remnants of her last shed, and after she's had time to settle in I'll run a damp cloth over her a few times and see if it helps.

She tagged me right after this one xD it wasn't exactly a surprise.

Re: Took some doing.. but they're home! :) (pic heavy)
Oh yeah it wasn't reptile express's fault at all! It was a mistake made by someone along the way at a shipping hub - they loaded it for ground travel instead of air. I have absolutely no issue with Reptiles Express, Sam was great helping me get it all figured out :)
Thanks for looking guys :D
- I want the week of no touching to be over already and they've been home about two hours -.-
