Question about breeding Superworms

So, I've been researching on the proper way to get a superworm colony going. I'm all set to go and have all the equipment that I need. I just have one question for someone that has done it. On average, for each female that you pupate and put into the breeding box, how many worms actually hatch out? Are we talking about 15, 20, 50, 100? Obviously that's going to vary a great deal, but I'm just trying to get an idea, so I know about how many I want to start with for breeding.

I have only been doing this a couple months. But in my experience you're looking at anywhere from 20 to 50 per beetle. Also meals and supers seem to do better in dark places.

Ive been breeding for maybe a year now just for my animals.

What I think, is that the beetles will eat some eggs and the older (first laid) superworms are also eating the new eggs. I am going to try to only keep my beetles in each box for one week and then move to the next box.
I know that didn't really answer your question, but I thought I would provide a little extra in why it might vary so much.
