    Glowing!!
Here's my first girl to ever glow! Took her out tonight, and had to put her next to her sister to be sure lol. She's been with my yellow belly for a couple months but I've never witnessed any locks.

Her and her sister, normally the same colour:

I am assuming that glowing has something to do with breeding season?

Yes. The quote is "they glow before they go" referring to a color change that occurs with most females when they are about to ovulate. They brighten up very noticably, hence "Glow". That is why the OP posted the two snakes together to show the difference since normally they are the same.

Thanks, im super excited because both those girls are "dinkers". They share a lot of similarities with a yellow belly so im hoping something is going on. If not they'll still give me some very pretty normals and ybs.

She's back to normal this morning so I'll post another pic tonight for a good visual!

The glow starts just after their pre-ov shed comes off and last until they go into prelay shed.
Glowing females are awesome looking, so bright and shiny :snake:

Congrats OP, she's got some nice flames going on, she should make some hot yellowbelly's :gj:

She is still glowing, morning light made her look normal again.

Heres a picture of what she normally looks like(top right), the same sister(bottom right) and a yellow belly(left)
