Eastern grey tree frogs have invaded my pool!
I've been working a lot of double shifts lately and I ended up being rather neglectful to our pool. I was about to put some chemicals in it tonight, but come to find out it has turned out to be a breeding ground for grey tree frogs. That explains the constant calling from our back yard. These little guys are really neat and I love hearing them calling for hours on end. Brave little buggers too. You can actually walk right up and touch them if you wanted. I grabbed my camera and snapped a quick pic of one of them calling and figured I'd share.

I think for the time being I will refrain from shocking our pool. We rarely use it and it will be neat watching these guys grow up.

I love those guys. At work I have 11 that I raised from tadpoles plus 5 greens. It's really nice to be sitting in the office and hear them start calling:)

That's really neat! The only things that ever made babies in my pool were mosquitos lol

    I love those guys too!

We had a bunch of these and the tiny pink tree frogs here a few summers back. I just love to listen to them, they sound like birds.

My favorite part about having grey tree frogs is watching them while they are tadpoles. The red tail that they have is awesome. You can go to several ponds around here and see them 'bobbing' up and down in and out of view like there is a trampoline at the bottom of the pond. Pretty cool.
