Do Hog Island Boas need a night drop?

I've got my new Hog Island in a 20L tank at the moment with a ceramic heat emitter keeping ambient temps between 88 and 81 I also have a UTH on a thermostat running at 94. A lot of care sheets seem to emphasize a night drop for hog island boas. Is this absolutely necessary?

I don't drop night temps for any of my snakes, including my Hog BCI and Colombians. The ambient temps drops a little since it gets cooler in the evenings but their hot spots stay the same.
