    can anyone give me a step by step guide to set up a tub for my snake cause im thinking of switching to tubs instead of tanks

    Its really not much different from a tank. You will need some air holes, you wont know how many until you get it setup and check the humidity. Start with a few and add more if the humidity is to high. You will apply the UTH the same way, and set the thermostat to get the hot side to the proper temp. Use whatever substrate is appropriate fot you. 2 hides and water bowl. Nothing to it!

    Ive never had a problem with a UTH directly on a tub.

    and at like 90-94 degrees f wont melt it...i always thought it would

    Yes just make sure you have a thermostat to control it!!!

    i will once i get back from vaca :) and it will stay at like 93 degrees
