Am I idiotic??

Sorry of this is not in the right area! Mods please feel free to move it if necessary :)

I have like 15-18 breeder normal girls, and I have 4 normal girls that won't be ready to breed for another year or so ( 2013 and 2014 ). I've made the suggestion of taking these younger girls to the Reading show this weekend to sell them. For one, I can use the rack space because I have a couple juvies in 16 qt tubs that need the bigger tubs, and for two, I can use that money to go towards another female morph or even another male morph.
But Chad thinks I should hold onto these girls, saying I'm a fool for selling them.

Anbody care to share your thoughts, opinions, suggestions?

I would sell them...I have sold all but 10 or so of my Normal females and replaced them with Morph females...I only kept the few Normals that through double digit clutches...I want to get there genetics into a few more Combos.

I have already started selling single gene Morphs females too!

And the 15-18 breeders I'm talking about are just normals. I have 8 morph girls that have bred or will breed this year. He also doesn't think I can get any money for them. I was thinking $50 each female. Does that sound about right, or am I way off?

how big are the normal females? 1000g you can get about $100 for them

15-18 normals plus 8 morph girls? Yea id sell them, youre being idiotic lol.

How big are they?

I would part with some of them. :). Or maybe if the reason to keep some of them is that they are looking like a good project, maybe get rid of one or two younger, and a few older?

your heavy on normals let those 4 go and get yourself a morph. ive seed normals go for $500 on Cl $50 is cheap :rofl::rofl::rofl:

I've only got one normal left and that one belongs to my neighbor who is in college. I breed her so she can pay her keep. When he gets out of school, he can have her back. I upgraded all of my normals to single and now working on growing up double gene girls.

No you aren't crazy. It is the same amount of work to care for single or double gene girls as it is to care for a normal. However, the pay off is better with morphs. Why create extra work for less reward? At least that was my thinking when I sold off my normal girls.
