    I been trying to take a photo of my bps eggs veins in a dark closet but its not working. i have a Canon Rebel XL. How are you all getting those great pics?

    Try taking the egg into a dark area, and instead of using a flash have someone candle the egg or use a flashlight under the egg - make sure the light isn't hot. The last thing you want to do is cook the egg. The light filtering through will cause the veins to show. Then use your camera - may need to use manuel mode - to focus on the egg/veins. If you use a flash, the light will reflect off the outside of the egg and you'll probably just get the egg in the shot - my guess of what you're getting right now.

    the eggs won't move, so your target is easy. take the time to set it up, and led's are great (as mentioned, not to use a hot end flash light). can't wait to see the pics.

    im using a LED light and no flash on the camera its just all blurry a ill try again and see what i get thanks.
