    Temp Gun and Scale
I need suggestions on a good temp gun and digital scale, preferable available on Amazon(im in Germany). I have a scale but it doesnt go over 2kg so I cannot even weigh my largest female. I do not want to just order any random product and findout its crap. Thank you for your suggestions!

For a scale I would just get one local (if you can) you don't need an extremely accurate scale. As long as it reads with a +/-5 gram tolerance you should be fine. I got mine at a grocery store. It is a kitchen scale that goes up to 3 kg

I don't use my temp gun for much else besides checking thawed rodent temps before feeding but this is what I use and haven't had any issues with it.

It depends on how accurate you want to be with your temps... this is one of the best in the IR industry (medical grade), but at a cost. It is a well built piece of gear (alloy construction)- http://www.amazon.com/Exergen-Precis...emperature+gun

I have used these in a pinch, are not quite as accurate, but well known in the industry (this is the style you see on most suppliers sites- cheaper plastic housing)- http://www.amazon.com/Raytek-MT4-Non.../dp/B0002198GY

I use one of these scales, but mine is 0-11#. It measures to the gram very nicely and has a good sized platform- http://www.amazon.com/Salter-Breckne...recknell+scale

There's an HTE temperature gun I picked up from Amazon at $27. It works great so far! It's red if that helps you distinguish it. Sorry I don't know how to link on my phone :(.
