    AC is broken...
Our AC is broken and trying to get it fixed asap but until tomorrow the house temps today and tonight are floating around 87 in Miami. I've cut all the power to the racks until I get it on. How hot is too hot and for how long?

Make sure you turn off all heat and they have plenty of fresh water. Skip feeding til you fix your AC they'll be fine.

Maybe nobody knows exactly how hot's too hot. For me, I try to keep the room at about 80 degrees. A few degrees either way doesn't concern me. A five degree swing makes me worry a little & make changes to change the temp. I would be very worried at 87 degrees. A fan can help bring temps down a little, but it also takes down the humidity. Since you're in FL, taking the humidity down some may not be a problem. Good luck & hope you get your AC back soon.

87 for a few days is really not that bad. I would be concerned if temperatures were exceeding 90 for days though. As Emilio said, skip feeding during the heat spike.

Maybe a cheap window AC unit? Or a fan with some ice filled two liters behind it?

Make sure to check the temps of the highest animal in the room. The temps could be much higher on the ceiling.

The AC will be fixed this afternoon. They all have water. I'm considering buying a portable unit for emergencies or outages like this.
