    When to start the count?
    So I think my Het females is starting her post ovy shed. Do I start counting while shes in blue or completely shed?

    I count after the shed, but keep in mind that these snakes have their own schedule and it could be days before or after when you see eggs. They are bound and determined to show you that while there are generalities, there are much more exceptions to the rule. That is why I say that breeding ball pythons is an exercise in learning patience.

    I know its a general idea. I just forgot to write down when my pin and goin nuts. I know it helps with patience. My pin will lay inverted part of the time, Perfect coil part of the time and part of the time she acts normal. Thanks for all the answers.

    Yep, I count the day they shed, it's a lot easier that way.
