Frozen vs Thawed..

Is the weight of a frozen rat equal to the weight of the same rat thawed?

I would think so...if not, very close...

are you that worried about it?

I weigh mine before and after just to see. I lose 1 gram while they thaw. But what's 1 gram.

Not the same weight...the freezing process damages the cellular structure, so all you're losing is water weight.
