I was at a reptile show recently and bought an 2.5 foot eastern king on impulse. Now that it has settled in if i even walk into the room with it at night it keeps trying to strike at me through it's enclosure and it rattles its tail at me. Now that I look back its cheap price and current behavior it makes me think that it was a wild caught specimen. It hasn't accepted rodents yet and i was curious if anyone has any tips for trying to get a wild caught king on to mice? This is my fourth snake, but the first one i bought on impulse, which was probably a stupid choice.....but any tips would be appreciated.
