Does a "strip heat lamp" exist?
I need something to very mildly heat the cool side of my enclosure, which is currently hovering around 75 degrees. I was thinking perhaps something shaped like a fluorescent T-lamp that that provided heat would work, but can't find anything. Do they exists? If not.. I'm very open to suggestions!

I found this.. which I know BP's don't need the spectrum light, but it does say it increases ambient temps.

Do I need a special fixture for this? I'm assuming I can't just put it in standard fluorescent fixture.

No you can't put an incandescent bulb into a fluorescent fixture.

In my opinion, 75* is not bad for the cool side. This is the ambient temp I keep my snakes at with no problems. If you still want to increase it a little bit, buy a cheap dome light and a low wattage in fared heat bulb. Good to go! No fancy fluorescent fixtures.

are we talking about one tank or a rack?
if its one tank then I would use a clamp light.
if its a whole rack then a small space heater.

I agree that 75 for a cool side isn't bad. If you're still concerned, an incandescent bulb or a ceramic heat emitter will be the least expensive, but you want to make sure you can keep humidity up. Another option is to look into a radiant heat panel, but this would probably be overkill for what you need it for.
