    Where to buy a pastel..
Ello ello. So ive been looking at getting a female pastel to eventually breed with my spider, and im really just not sure where to get it = /

My local snake show is about an hour away, and I generally work on saturdays, when they occur so its difficult to go. I also checked craigslist and fauna, but you only ever see malnourished stunted mite ridden balls on craigslist, and fauna seems to have a million different combos right now and no good sized straight pastels! Can anybody reccomend a breeder who may have an adult ir subadult female theyre trying to sell? Id love to just have the girl shipped to me.

I did check Kobylkas website, and one other I cant remember but no dice. Thanks in advance!

Have you tried Kingsnake Classifieds? I've seen quite a number of adult pastel girls there.
You can also try all of the breeders advertised on the side columns of BP.net. They're all very good breeders.
Some other big breeder recs in addition to the breeders advertised here:

    Royal Constrictor Designs: http://www.royalconstrictordesigns.com/
    NERD: http://newenglandreptile.com/nerd/
    Constrictors Unlimited: http://pythonregius.com/
    BHB Reptiles: http://www.bhbreptiles.com/
    Underground Reptiles
    Outback Reptiles

BHB sells sub-adults and adult females for sure (Maybe not pastels though)

If you are looking for adults or subadults, you just kinda have to keep looking through the classifieds (Nikki's recommendation is a good one) to find what you want. I think many breeders occasionally go thru their holdbacks and let stuff go, or replace proven females with other morphs/combos, but they aren't for available all the time (and sometimes they sell quickly). If you just keep looking, I am sure you can find one:)

Also, I have had good luck letting a few breeders I have purchased from in the past know what I am looking for and having them contact me if they decide to sell one. This seems to work better with some breeders than others, but worth a shot.

Thanks for the links nikki! Ill check them out next oppertunity I get. I gad actually forgotten all about king snake. I did find adult female normals on LLL's website for 130 with shipping, but they didnt disclose weights so im not sold yet. Like you guys said I may just need to keep my eyes peeled.

I KNOW! I feel like I used to see pastels everywhere. Then again I did pick a rotten time of year to be looking for one. Right when everyone else is starting to buff there collection for nect year.

Contact Jon at Breeders Circle. Www.breeding circle.com great guy to do business with and very nice snakes. I'm sure he can help you out. Call him even if you don't see one listed as available.

All those are excellent websites. Some if you didnt notice though dont update as often as they have snakes become availiable. Justin Kolbylka has a link to his Current availiable spreadsheet on his site because he doesnt list all his animals in the pictures section. Also some sites have fine print saying to email for a current list. It cant hurt to contact them through their websites email asking if they have any availiable or that will be availiable in the near future. GL finding your snake!
