    Solar Ball Python!!
So I'm very lucky to be one of only a handful of folks working with this Solar gene. This is a dominant gene, but has not been dis-proven yet to be co-dom as the only attempt to breed the super ended with a re-absorption (boo).

I've got 19 eggs this year, and am hoping for a slew of females to aid in future projects. This is one of my most exciting projects :) I've never seen another BP with yellows like the Solar!

Hmm...so, blushing on the neck, and yellow washing coming up from the belly? Are there any other markers? The snake does not seem very yellow to me, this is an extremely subtle morph. I am not sure I could tell one apart from my het albino, at the moment.
Does it do anything unusual in combos?
How did you prove it to be a morph, rather than a collection of heritable characteristics?

Was there a colored tag of some sort on the snake? I thought I saw something, anyway good luck!

tag? nope. Unless that's slang for awesomeness - in which case yes :)

The video's not the best... in person that yellow is impossible to miss, it is strikingly yellow. I've shown this boy to many a person, and have yet to see anything close. I'm planning on mixing this with Fire - going for a Solar Flare :)

It's been mixed with Mojave so far (http://www.worldofballpythons.com/mo...ve-solar-ball/). It's still pretty new, so there aren't a slew of mixes. I'll take photos of my hatchlings (due on August 3rd). As of now I only have the adult male to show.

The yellow flames are really unique. It's subtle by itself, but a lot of the best morphs are. Think about if the first enchi was a spotty one? Think about if you saw the first YB in a pile of normals? Yet these morphs have some of the most aestheically pleasing and powerful effects when combined.

Excited to see/hear more about the project. Is anyone else working with this or just a dinker project you've been able to replicate in 2 rounds of breeding?

This gene was proved out by OCD in Ontario, so there are a few of us (3 I believe) who are working with this gene here (In Canada)

Thats interesting. Those yellow flames are pretty neat... I hope to see some baby pics soon especially of the morph by itself. Very cool though it sure would be cool if it was proved codom with a wacky super! :gj:

I hope yall can prove something out with them.
I hate all the new subtle morphs because they all look like normal variants to me, then again they might look better in person:confusd::confusd:
