    If its to big....
    I was just feeding my bp and I got thinking while watching. Will BP's eat something to big that their bodys can't handle? Then what would happen to them if it was way to big? ( by the way in case your wondering the rat I just fed was the right size:thumbup:) thanks for your input

    More often than not, if it's WAY too big, they'll reject it. But it is possible for them to eat something that was too big, and then their body rejects it and regurges it.

    The only two times I've ever had a ball spit out a partially swallowed food item was when it was a bit too large. Most of the time, if they think it is too big, they won't even bother to try. But now and then an especially hungry one might snag a meal that turns out a little bigger than it thought. I've never had one swallow the prey then regurge, but I have had them get the head and neck down, and realize the shoulders were too big and spit the prey back out.
