Rack System or Seperate Enclosures

Wow its been a while since I posted in this spot!
Actualy my question is in regards to future plans I have of converting a very, small room (a big walk in storage closet ) into a herp room. Do most of you guys with multiple herps use a rack systm with heat tape? Or do you prefer seperate rubbermaid enclosures with seperate heat sources and control?

Oh by the way, you see what you all have started dont you!? :P

For same species, I use a rack w/ heat tape. Each species should have their own heat and humidity controls, IMO.

Depends on how many you have really. How many do you plan on housing?

Ive only got my Bp for now, Id like to get a female in the near future,also one day Id like to have a Western hognose, a hog island boa, a king snake and a spotty.

You don't have to house each species in a different rack.......I house many different species in the same rack with great results. As long as all of their tempurature requirements are similar, you shouldn't have a problem.

Just one question than in regards to humidity within a rack system.
If the temp. requirements are similar but one species requires less humidity than another, (eg. BP and a hognose, both can use a basking spot of 88-92 and ambient temps are about the same but hoggies humidity is 30-40%) is there a way to modify one of the bins to hold less humidity? Like maybe drilling holes in a certain area?
