How long for the actual shedding?
Im convinced our snake is working on shedding tonight :)
She's gone through all the stages and I have a feeling tonight is the night. ha ha

How long does the actual shedding process take? I keep sneaking in the room
to peek and see if anything is happening, but appears she's roaming around
in & out moss hide, and other hides, rubbing her face against the hides and herself.

She has also yawned several times- not sure if that normal part of this process or not.

But im anxiously watching, because I know the chances of seeing them shed is pretty slim.
Then I started to wonder if I could be in there all night watching!! and certainly not THAT
excited to lose a nights sleep over it. LOL

What have you snake people done to me????

Probably anywhere from 20 or 30 minutes to maybe an hour?

Not long at all. I have never caught one of my bps, but have seen my corn shed. It's neat to see them sort of "walk" out of the shed. If she is rubbing, she is trying to get it started. What is your humidity like? Make sure its up to around 70, so shedding is a smooth process.

Depends of the snake I have watched one of mine start and finish in 15 min. One other was still getting the last bit off her tail past the 70 min mark. Interestingly the fast one is one of my snakes that is very interested and busy ones, the slow one is super chill and will stay on my desk for hours un moving.

Mine is going through shed right now too, I am super excited to see him shed!!! He has already had the blue eyes and they are pretty much gone, so I think next is just time for him to get that old skin off!!!

Our snake is at the exact same point. I thought last night was it for sure. but I guess not. :(
Keeping the humidity up and hopefully soon. I would LOVE to see it happen, but I know the odds are against me.

    THANKS for all the replies!!

After reading the "Shedding Process" in the stickies area again- i realized my snake is following this pattern to a tee... Just when I thought she was about to shed the other night. Nope- taking her sweet, old time.

Her eyes are clear as can be again, So she must be getting close... right?? lol I know I wont catch her in the process, but it would be very cool to see.
