How do you beat this summer heat?
The weather has just been unbearbly hot. I was just wondering how all of you deal with the heat? I run my air conditioners all day and all night. I take cold showers a lot too. Most of the time, I just try to go somewhere where it is nice and cool.

I feed the horses and trim feet, or ride very early like before 7/8. Take a bath when I get home, but I try to keep my ac on 77/78 during the day and 74 @ night. Other than that I stay inside.

Today we went bowling, tomorrow is the free movie and the rest of the time is lounging in the pool with a nice cold drink in my hand :)

I can't beat the heat if there's no heat. I've been doing my usual routines.
It's been a steady 70s here in California. My house doesn't have an AC unit either.
It actually just dropped in the 60s yesterday and had a freak rain shower. I needed to dig up a jacket last night.

Beat the heat? What's that lol. I go out and enjoy it and sweat a lot. Field herping, play disc golf, hike, and anything outdoors really. But when I like to cool down I put a movie on or watch Netflix in my house with a fan in my face and the ac blowing.

We don't typically hit the higher numbers that you guys are getting right now. Thankfully! Not many people up here have A/C units. Well, a good number do, but not nearly as common as it is stateside. Those temps are brutal!

I have to say the worst is getting into a hot car. Ugh. Just drives me nuts. My A/C went in my car the other day too, so I had all the windows open and it was still hot and sticky and gross.

I typically limit outdoor stuff to early morning or later evening, when the temps start to drop just a bit.

At my boyfriends apt he and I and the roomate all want it DEAD COLD and we keep it as close to 68 at all times. When it gets above 75 we call the office and tell them we need to get it fixed. I don't go out until nightfall and when i do i had better be in the water or it has to be less than 80 (so I'm only out between 6-8 AM). AC in the car is on high no matter what and the only time i want it warm is in the shower and at night when I'm covered in blankets and that's more for security

I stay in my hide which I keep at 68° when I'm not working, and work nights to be out of the daytime heat.

In Houston it actually hadn't been to bad. We have been getting alot of rain which is no good for motorcycle riding.:tears:
