I like the look of those water falls that you put in the tanks. I live in South Texas so even in the winter time the humidity inside the tank may drop to about 40% and i mist the cage and it only goes up to about 50%. Our summers are very hot. And our winters are mild and dry. Does anyone here recomend using these devices they do look really cool? Could the circulated water be better for them instead of the still water? And does anyone here use these? Oh and this is to be put in a BP enclosure i also plan on leaving the normal water dish there.

i dont know what you mean by a waterfall. if you mean one of those cute little waterfall rocks, i wouldn't put it in a bp's cage. all it's gonna do is annoy the bp. if you want higher humidity and you want to use a device to do so, try a repti-flo 250.

Cool thanks. I was considering that too but your right the vibration of the waterfall might stress them out.

Ok I just bought a reptiflo 250 tonight, and it did absolutely nothing for my humidity issues. Its a glass terrarium with a screen top, so yeah I know those don't hold humidity at all. Would I be able to keep better humidity if I used a different lid or modified the one that I have now?

cover 3/4 of the lid with duct tape. cut a whole outa the tape for your heat lamp.
here one of a few different discussions on the topic. http://www.ball-pythons.net/index.ph...iewtopic&t=805

We tried the ReptiFLow and got an easy 10% boost just from the little 1" gurgling spigot of water - doesn't seem to bother Neph at all - in fact she will bask on the rock right next to it (guessing it's a lil more humid right near it). We're gearing up to build a couple humidifiers as well to test some stuff out. I'm guessing if you have the top covered just keeping the water circulating and the little bubbles popping where the flow goes back into the pool you should see a small boost.

We'll post some hard numbers when they are available.
