Fire clutch is hatching!!

Yep boys and girls, it's been that long already. My pride and joy Akashi gave me a clutch of 12 eggs. 2 went bad early on, but the remaining 10 stayed healthy and were pipped on day 57, one week ago Saturday. The first of them were showing their heads this morning, and by tonight the first had come out. It looks as though my instincts are correct, and I will have some amazing fire babies on my hands.

Even better, out of the 10 eggs, it looks like there could be as many as 8 fires!! I am so very excited to see these babies as they hatch, it feels like I've been waiting for her babies forever, even though this is only her second season with me.
