    pet store python.
Thanks for checking out my thread, I am pretty new to owning my python so I have a lot to learn. I don't want to sound to nooobie but.... I was in petco to pick up some frozen food and I aalways check out the animals. I noticed a python very yellowish and didn't have a single spot , like where the little alien head shapes are. Is this common and as I said it looks very light yellow with normal black markings. I tried to snap a photo but it went into the hide right away. Btw poor thing was trying to shed and was way too drry or something. Skin was peeling like a sunburn. Petco sux

Yes chances are it's just a reduced pattern normal.
Every once and a while you can get lucky with a morph but without a picture it's impossible to say.
And yes petco/petsmart sucks poor thing needs more humidity.

That is just typical of a big pet store. They have protocols on certain things that need to be done. Some people just don't care about the humidity and temps. If I were to buy all the snakes that I see at pet smart (where I work as a stocker) I would have so many normals! They keep 3 in a tank :( and the pet co I went to there was 5 in one 20 gallon breeder :( so sad.

You should see where the animals come from. It's horrible.
