    Need opinions please :)
So I don't know if this is the right spot to post this but I need some opinions on starting off for breeding even if it's a few years down the road. I almost started breeding a few years ago but have moved so many times I kept changing my mind. Now I'm starting over. I have a male lesser, a male spider who will be here on the 11th. I've always wanted a bee. Bees and Lucys are my favorite. Kind of a tight budget but there is a show next month and if I were able to pick up a bee would that be the smarter thing to do? Or else I will pick up a Pastel female at the show and anything else that I can find worth it. I'm sorry, my post is kinda all over the place. I just figured with a bee I could end up with more spiders and pastels anyways but can always work my way up with it too. Male or female?

    Thanks!

Oh & sorry for any misspells.. My iPhone and I obviously can't get things straight together.

Deff pick up females! your male heavy, i would say pick up a super pastel female, when bred to your spider you will have 50/50 shot at each egg containing a pastel or bumblebee. there is something about producing you "own" of your favorite morph that will make it so much better when you own it. and i would look at a mojave female also, if you like BEL's, you lesser will work perfect with it.
    whats your "tight budget"?

I either planned on a mojave female and a pastel female or a bee. Never thought of a super pastel though. I thought those make killer bees? Maybe I'm wrong on that. & yes I have also thought of breeding and hatching out a bee myself so it'd be my first and I produced it. & money wise, well my husband lost his job so I don't know if we will even make it but he should have another in the next week. We have some money saved up though and would like to take $500 or a lil more to the expo. Which would be all that for a bee or maybe a mojave and pastel female..

I'm also trying to figure out what to get next. I had a plan written on exactly what I wanted but I came across a crazy deal on a male spider and male pastel so it kind of threw my plans off since I was going to originally get a female spider. Now I need to tweak my plans a little:rolleyes:

    Anyways good luck!!

Get a pastel lesser female at the show. She will probably be slightly over your budget, but you could eventually breed her to both your spider and your lesser, and have a shot at bumblebees, lesser bees, queen bees, spiders, lessers, pastel lessers, BELs, etc., etc...

Another suggestion might be fire. It's one of the more subtle morphs, but it really enhances your morphs! Lesser x fire = HOTNESS!

I also 2nd the super pastel suggestion. The pastel lesser suggestion isn't bad either :gj:.

I also am liking the idea of the pastel lesser. I guess it all depends what the rest of this month goes like! The fire idea isn't bad either. Maybe I should start writing my wish list and if I find the ones for my price range I'll grab what I can. Between now and then I don't know how many times I'll change my mind though!

Could be either lol. I made the name when I had my blood pythons and thought I'd stick with those. Although they have some awesome morphs too it's not as big of a variety like ball pythons.

I agree on the super pastel female.
Chance at some killer bees which imo are cooler looking than reg bees. (i think most ppl would agree lol)

    Stock up on females.
Try to get some double gene combos. This is the only thing i wish i would've done is get more doubles at first.
