I snapped a few pics of Peanut, and his new enclosure set-up. Tell me what you think..

    Here is his enclosure.

Here is the warm hide, where he usually dwells. The carpet burrow seems to be a big hit...

Here he is in his enclosure.

And one more of him gobbling down a good sized rat.

Also, I took a lot of pictures at the National Zoo in D.C. over the weekend, but there are too many to post. I'd like to invite you all to check them out.

Nope, it's Repti-Carpet, found at pet stores. It has a somewhat rough surface, which is particularly good when they're trying to shed.

yep, repti-carpet. i don't like it too much because the snakes belly scales get caught up in it. but other than that it's a good substrate. i quit using it as substrate and switched back to newspaper. a lot less messy.

BTW, thanks for sharing your setup pics and your pics of the zoo. The National Zoo is definitely someplace we should all go at least once.

Great pics Will! I'm jealous... the only time I've been to the National Zoo was on a school trip when I was in eigth grade... I spent all freaking day lost looking for the reptile house and when I finally found it, it was closed  I'll have to make a trip down there on some long weekend or something.
