    Should I attempt to feed?
We feed Medusa every 5 days. She's usually out and active day 4-5, like she's looking for food. I had her out yesterday and her skin has been looking rather dull. Her belly didn't appear overly pink, no clouded eyes, but i've been wondering if she's heading into a shed. (timing seems about right)

Anyway, today is Day 6- she's just been in her moss hide since yesterday- Not her usual active self around feeding time :) So i was wondering if I should even bother to attempt to feed her, or just let her be? BTW, We feed her F/T

    Thanks!

I always feed with just the first signs of an up coming shed. Mine will always eat then. I feed f/t too.

Either way is fine... It doesn't hurt to try, but skipping a week isn't an issue either.

Some BP's will eat during the shed cycle some won't... Only 1 way to find out if yours will or not.

I feed F/T, and some of mine eat during shed but I have a few that won't.

I always offer even when they are in shed and they rarely refuse a meal! I too feed f/t.... for the moment.

If you want to you can, I personally would. There's no issue with feeding them while in shed, some of them aren't as interested in eating when they are in shed, but it's not going to hurt them.

Re: Should I attempt to feed?
Well I fed her, because she had come out of the moss hide and was on the cool side.
She checked out the mouse, but didn't seem overly interested. We left in over night, because
sometimes she's a closet eater. But no luck. Still there this a.m. and she was back in the moss.

Kind of fun that I feel im getting a vibe for our snakes behaviors. :) Of course, she will change as soon
as I think i have her nailed down :)
