Am I just impatient?

Alright, I've got my bin, my thermometer, my hideboxes are in the mail, as well as my thermostat and UTH. My snake is ready whenever I send the money. I get my paycheck this weekend i believe. My stuff wont get here until mid-late next week. WHAT DO I DO IN THE DOWNTIME??? It's not like I have another snake to handle while I'm waiting, it's my first one. Just a normal, but seriously, how do you guys deal with this waiting game?!

Read forums :D That's what I'm doing lol. For the next month until I can get my paws on my first baby. I know how you feel though.. the wait is agonizing :rolleye2:

Lol yeah I remember back in the day when I was the same way. There is a lot of stuff to do. Read up on everything you could want to know on here, ask questions, go to pet stores and see/handle other animals... get on youtube and watch ALL of Ralph Davis's posts! This should help keep you occupied for a while! Also, a few other pages I would recommend on youtube would be SnakeBytes TV, Freakiefrog, Playballp, and if you just want a great channel to watch HISHEdotcom is a great way to pass time!!!

Don't feel bad, even us old pro's get the itch when we are waiting on a new arrival. Most of us do anyway.

I just got mine a little over a month ago, and the whole month before hand I was having anxiety attacks I swear from not wanting to wait lol. But as they are saying, I just read and fed myself knowledge about ball pythons. I still have a few questions here and there sure, but who doesn't??!! Anyway, I have found this site and Google were my best friends while waiting to get my baby BP!!!!

I'm right there with you. Mine will be coming in 10 days. We are all so excited. It's all we talk about.

Yeah I am gonna be getting my new enchi this friday and I am super stoked about it! I just hang out here and do school work all day... Oh yeah and I have a daughter 13 other snakes and a small rat colony of about 16 to keep me occupied.... But still I cant help but get all excited at the thought of getting my new snake!!! :taz:
