    Heat....
    Okay so about two days ago my snakes heap lamp broke and we had to get a new light for it, it is now 40 degrees in there I'm scared can she die , and she is about to go into shed and i need to know how hot it should be in there.. Also its a 150 watt bulb before it was 75 watts hmmm

    Heat doesn't change during a shed, it's the humidity.

    60-70% is recommended for humidity during shed.

    Id go get a light dimmer for your lamp. That way you can adjust the temps no matter the wattage of bulb

    Does she have a heat pad? How hot is it? She might be okay for the time it takes you yo go buy another as long as she stays there.
    In the future you should buy two heat lamps at a time so you have a spare.

    The cage 40 degrees? What system are we talking? F or C?

    40 C = 104 F

    Either way 40 C or 40 F that snake is in trouble...

    If 40 C get a lamp dimmer, or a new bulb (less wattage, 150 is way more than needed)

    If 40 F get a new bulb

    Your cage needs to stay 90 F (32.222 C) on the hot side and 80 F (26.667 C) cool side 24/7
