she is approx. 6-7 ft in legnth, girthy but not as fat as some I have seen.
    Vet tommorow,
was fed live, unsexed and had a hot rock! (I really hate those things), former owners claim the tail "slumped" off with a shed two years ago. There is a bacterial infection where the muscular system becomes necrotic from the inside out (I beleive it is bacterial), but I haven't seen it for 4 years, so I need to do more reading.
    Anyhow
    Just thought I'd share.
    Thanks

Wow, that's terrible Rusty. That poor thing. I can't believe hot rocks are still on the market.

I hope everything goes okay for her, does it look like it will?

I think she should be okay, looks alright but you can never tell w/o fecal and bloodwork, so hopefully all will be well.
She is a little snotty but not to bad.
I'll keep everyone updated if you want
    Thanks

Oh yeah, and I was going to ask. What kind of boa is she? (Certainly doesn't look Colombian, is she?) Maybe Argentine? (I'm not too good on boa locales, though. lol).

And please keep us updated on her health.

I am not so good with it either.
If anyone has any ideas please let me know.
I usually don't find a great need to id locale as I won't ever breed her / him. But if any one has an idea, let me know
    Thanks

She looks to have the same back markings as my new BCI, i used http://www.boa-constrictors.com/ to help ID mine and found some other interesting stuff. Might give it a look.
