Albino ball question.

Gonna be looking to buy my first albino ball, not looking to breed atleast not as of yet. Is there anything I should be worried about with this morph? For ex: temperament, bad eating habits ect ect. Thanks in advance.

Worried about no.. but there are something's that I have noticed with albino's and even the white snakes. Their scales tend to be "softer" for lack of a better word. I've noticed my albino's and white snakes see to be more susceptible to little rat feeding nips. So just something to keep in mind if you feed live.

Maybe it just shows better on a light snake?

Can't go wrong with an albino! Mine was the first visual morph I bought and it's been downhill by several thousand dollars spent since then, lol!

Nothing spectacular but I like him just fine. Good luck and be sure to post pics when you get yours.

My albino is my best eater by far. She has never refused a meal....even while in shed.

I also didn't notice any difference in scale strength, per se, either. Just in lighter snakes injuries seem much more noticeable.

Cool thanks everyone, this will NOT be my first ball python, although i don't have any in my collection right now, i have had about 5, including one i had 25 years ago that was a great feeder. I will NOT be feeding live, i love feeding FT so i am not worried about injuries to my new baby. In fact i don't have any snakes in my collection right now just mainly Leachianus Geckos, but have been craving a ball python again, and probably will just get 2, this albino and a high white pied. Again thank you all for your great info, and AWESOME pics of your animals.

I love my albino. He feeds great, even in shed, and has the sweetest personality!
