And replace the bulb.
Just make sure there is no glass in the enclosure and never spray water on a hot bulb.

Well, no...not generally speaking.
If, however, you are being a little over-zealous in your misting and cross room-temp water with a 100'F+ thin glass surface then yes.....they have a tendency to go *poof*. >_>

...or when removing it to replace with the back-up CHE and grabbing the element to re-adjust it in the fixture forgetting that the lamps are hooked up to a single switch so that it one of the goes the other one will turn on....
