Ok this girl is set to lay sometime this week. How many do you think she's gonna drop?!?! ( this is my first so I'm just tryin to pass the time!!!)

Just some more info. She was 1650 grams in February and ovulated may 31 , at which time she weighed 2450 grams. :eek:

Ok just an update. I double checked my records. This Thursday the 19th will be day 27 post shed. So what's your guess when she will lay and how many eggs. Here is a pic from just now.

If she is like my girl she will not lay on her due date. So im going to say 25th 5 eggs

Watch for her to be twisting herself up like a knot as it will be her adjusting the eggs. That will likely be followed by her laying in a nice coil but kind of on her side. My daughter's went the morning after that.

My guess is 7 eggs on the 20th and good luck.

My guess would be her current weight divided by 300 for the number of eggs she gives you if she is not already a proven breeder. Also I go for about 37 days after pre-lay shed for when she gives you eggs.
