Reptisafe water conditioner...

Is this stuff ok for my new Ball Python 141 grams??

I dont have any experience with it, maybe others have..but I personally would not use it.. if you are worried about thier water being safe- use bottled water, thats what I do.

Is that the stuff that removes chlorine and all that stuff from water? And do you have a well?

sounds interesting... wanna post a report on that product when you've got it figured out?

I've used it...
It is desighned to remove the clorine from your herps water, (same as stress coat for fish tanks)
I'll try and find my bottle to list ingredients etc.
We just use a PUR water filter. (our town water just isn't right), so all the water is filterd anyway, we don't find a need to use the repti safe except when we refill the turtle enclosures, (I am not going to filter 100 gallons of water..lol)

Yea, it is the stuff that removes chlorine and adds electrolites... i figure that it would be better to just drop some of that into the water bowl instead of pouring in bottled water... lot easyer to just pick up the bowl and wash it out in the sink :idea:

Thanks ironhead,, like I said I use it with the turtles, nothing bad has happend.
I bought a PUR water filtration system (hooks onto your faucet) for about 28$ at out local pharmacy.
Well worth it.

I use that stuff but what i do is i put it in a used plastic water bottle i fill up the bottle and put a few drops and leave it over night that way it has time to take out the bad stuff and this works great i used to use just tap water and at the end of the day there would be slime at the bottom of the dish now there isnt so it does something and it seems like my BP's soak more in this water then the tap water and i see them drinking all the time.
