    ok i bought a sponge for humidity and it says it resists bacterial odors with anti-microbian technology is this safe for my snake in its cage. I also intend on puting it in the humidifyer i built is that safe.

    yes the sponge is safe for the snake. I use three in mine. I cut it into three pieces and placed it them throughout her home. And what do you mean by a home made humidifier? Explain that.

    that due it yourself humidifier i built one and am going to put a sponge in it to create more humidty.

    Sponges will built up bacteria after a while, though, so I'd run them through the dishwasher at least once or twice a week for safety's sake.
