    F/T rats? Where is best?
I want to switch my snakes off of live rats/mice onto f/t. I have looked around at different places for prices and shipping cost, but have not made a decision. Just hoping to find out the places where people have had good experiences. Suggestions??? Thanks!

    The Serpent Merchant
I use rodent pro and love it

    http://www.rodentpro.com/

The more you buy at a time the more you save. I buy 6 months worth at a time and save a few hundred dollars vs buying live locally from a reptile shop that sells live feeders.

x2 I absolutely love rodent pro. The shipping cost is high, but ordering months of food at a time saves a lot of money

I only have one animal at the moment and she is still growing so I don't order from rodent pro....yet :)
I usually buy from a vendor at my local reptile expo. It comes around every 2-3 months and the prices aren't too bad. When I get more animals I will probably start buying from rodent pro, but not yet. Hope this helps.

    EAC Reptiles
I don't think rodent pro is all that great. There shipping is ridiculous, and I personally don't think there quality of rodent is all that great.

Most of the orders I received from them showed up with at least one bag of rodents being a frozen bloody chunk. And most times the rodents just don't look good. I usually buy my frozen mice from local shows. The rodents are good quality, all consistent sizes and not chunks of ice. And you get to see the actual product before you buy.

If you want quality try the mouse factory! They are really professional and high quality!

Rodent pro all the way! Unlike EAC I have never got a block of ice from them, there shipping is high but I live how they are packaged, I received a shipment from them a last summer when ny got the heat wave and the rodent sat outside on my front step all day up until 1030pm when I got home and the meats were still frozen and fresh as could be. I tried vendors at shows and it's either a hit or miss with me, sometimes there's good quality then other times it's just ok quality.

I currently get my rats from either a local exotics store or NERD, they only charge 2.00 for a medium rat. If i were to purchase through rodent pro i feel like i'd have to order at least 200+ rats just to compensate for the expensive shipping to NH.
