I've heard of males locking up, usually the dominant one "winning", but not sure of the consistency once it's actually happened. I'm sure it depends on the snake.
I'm hoping everybody has the answer to that question. YOU STOP PAIRING THEM UP. Let me add this, if you are going to be breeding animals you need to learn to sex the animals or have somebody sex them for you. Just like any species, males can be aggresive towards each other in the presence of a female at the right time of the year.

lol......that is the very obvious answer. I THINK the actual question is "has anyone witnessed multiple locks with the same two males, unknowingly one was a male"...

I'm pretty sure this is what he's asking as well.
No, I haven't but I almost put a male with a male back when I first started out. The people I bought the snake from said "she" was a female, and I took his word for it. When it came to breeding season I confused the two so I probed them only to find out both were male.

i'm a girl, and yes this is what i was asking. taking someones word for it and then finding out that your male and "female" are actually two males...and you've witnessed lock after lock...obviously locking without sparring because that would be a pretty huge hint that she was actually a he. to be more precise, i'm asking if anyone has witnessed multiple locks in an accidental male to male pairing?
i am housing a female and male together after a month of QT but i was just worried that perhaps she is actually a male since i haven't had her probed yet and the person i got her from was pretty sketchy. i have witnessed no sparring and a couple of locks.
