Worse than water dish poop...

So what's worse than water dish poop? Poop that they've cuddled up with under their hide.

Word.

Then because they're a hatchling and they freak out over every little touch it takes you 20 min to clean the poop off their belly because they won't uncurl. So ew. I ENCOURAGE mine to poop in their bowls! Seriously. That was more like changing a diaper on a 2 year old only smaller and they can't really jump up and run away from you...but still the same concept.

Lol, my bp pooped in his hide... and i wondered why he wouldn't go in the hide so i picked the hide up and the bp poop dropped and splatted on my bare foot.. the poop was stuck to the hide :( Lol

LOL! I can only imagine you learned your lesson from THAT mistake!!! When we had our first BP, Elmo, we'd have him out for a long time and we didn't know what "sausage butt" meant. Well, we've all been pooped on so many times...last night DD wanted to hold Luna but I wouldn't let her because she had major sausage butt. Now I'm glad I didn't let her hold her! I love how they lift their tail right before they shoot their poop torpedo out! It's a good thing they're so heavy bodied or else they'd shoot in the opposite direction.

I feel your pain. We arrived home last night after being at the cabin for the weekend. My Albino BP had dropped a big one in her hide and attempted to camouflage her yellow skin with the Poo. Now I have been to the store over lunch to get a large bucket to soak both hides and the decorations. Gonna use non-scented baby wipes to clean her up and some bleech and sponge to get her tank all clean again.

The one plus out of all of this that I can see is that she is brightly colored, I can see any spots that I miss. :)

Thats funny and I don't like when it happens but I absolutely hate when they go in the water bowl......So nasty.:(

I got home to a savage pile of poop last night at midnight... Not what I was looking forward to. Looked like mud and Newman was trying to get out, rightfully so because it smelled vile.

I'm so used to cleaning opossum poop out of water dishes that ball python poop (especially from either my or my friend's snake, which are both juvies) wouldn't phase me.
