    2012 hatchlings
Well 17 eggs were laid. 3 were slugs but the other 14 started hatching today. Sadly 1 was full term but dead in the egg. HEre are pics of what has happened so far.

My corn hatchling/burmese hatchling comparison photo.

I guess some of them are Motleys. My 13 year old son deals with the corn snakes and I take care of the ball, green tree and burmese pythons. I know the Sire and Dam are both het something. Thanks for looking and if you have a second let me know if those are Motleys please.

From what I can figure out the Sire is Anerythristic or Charcoal het motley and the Dam is well red het motley.

These are last years pics that I put up because we only had 1 motley in the whole clutch. This years clutch has many more motleys in it. I guess we beat the odds in breeding and making the motleys.

Awesome odds! :) If the "Motleys" have clear bellies (no checkers at all!), then they are definite Motleys. If they have belly checkers, then they are "Notleys"....basically being het for Motley (some will be more Motley looking than others). The same goes for the parents. If their bellies are clear, then they are definitely Motleys. Great pics, thanks for sharing! Love your Burmese hatchling vs. Corn hatchling photo!

I have friends asking how small is a hatchling corn snake. It was the best way I could find to give a good comparison with. Ended up with 4 brown/grey motley's 4 red motley's 1 red normal and 4 normal brown/greys. All motleys have clear bellies so the boy is pretty happy with that. I still have 3 babies left over from last years eggs. 1 motley and 2 normals. THey are some of the reddest corns I have seen though.
