I went to feed Bastian tonight. Got him a small rat per usual, but this little punk had attitude! He jumped out of the box I brought him home in, and he was OFF! Took about 10 minutes to catch him. When I finally got him, I had him by the tail. Little brat started SPINNING wildly in circles, and the end of his tail came OFF! He was off again! After another 10 minutes we finally found him hiding in one of Bastians pot pie box hides that I had tossed on the floor when I got him out. I was able to smash the open end shut with the fugitive rat inside. I whapped the box a good one to stun his bad a$$, and dropped him into an impatiently waiting Bastian. And another WHAP, this time by Bastian, and the escapee was in the python hug.

    Sheesh!

I'm glad you gave him a good smack before putting him in with Bastian so he didn't end up going off on him. Better safe than sorry.
