    Hello and a quick question
Hi all, my fiancee and I recently bought our first ball python. He is a real good feeder (he has eaten 3 times, every 5 days) and just recently came out of shed. He had a 100% complete shed (one piece). My question is, he has yet to pass any of his meals, how long should it take for him to pass? the temperatures in his terrarium range from 88-94 on the hot side and 78-84 on the cool side. After he had shed I found a hard solid white object in his terrarium, could this be bones, it looked like a cylinder pellet. Thanks for all the help, have been doing a lot of searching and learning on the forum.

You probably saw a urate, or basically a solid urine that can pass with the liquid urine.

He'll poo when he's ready: some poo regularly while some hold it for weeks at a time.

Thanks. I first thought it could be utrate, but the white color threw me off. As far as passing his meals, I guess we'll just have to wait and be surprised one morning. Thanks again.

They go when they are ready. Some go regularly, some only when they shed. Not anything to worry about too much. And x2 to white pellet being urates.

So nothing is wrong with our ball. Thanks for the quick replies. We real happy our guy is a good eater, he ate for us one day after getting him and we have heard of many instances where balls won't eat for weeks to months at a time. The one thing we were worried about was the lack of dookie, but we are not worried any more, thanks.

    Yupp, what everyone else said.

My BP poops 3 days after she eats, like clockwork, never fails. But for some odd reason she doesn't poop while in the shedding process. But right when she sheds.... BAM huge surprise for me to clean up in the morning haha some poop on a schedule, some go randomly. She will goes when she's ready :gj: no need to worry.

Great to hear about good eaters, makes me happy :) They indeed can go off for months, especially from Fall to Spring. Two of mine have been off for 5 months now. Bummer... :P

Sorry about the double post, maybe I can get a moderator to delete it for me:D

So, I guess we are just going to have to wait until he is ready to. We will just have to check for a gift.
