    How to measure temps inside rack?
    Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but how am i supposed to measure my basking temp inside the tub if the tub has to be closed to remain in contact with the tape?

    By basking you mean the warm side right? All I do is slid the tub out and quickly measure the surface temps with a temp gun. Also some use thermometers with a probe on the warm side to see the temps that way too.

    You use a temp. gun to get a pretty accurate reading, as stated above.
