Fun Reptile Pets to watch?

I was just curious of what folks on here think are the most enjoyable reptiles to watch! Ones that are displayed and you can just sit back and watch them? I realize most all our little buddies are fun to watch as I do enjoy watching mine, but I'm curious if there is a somewhat common one out there!

Anything small and active so you can build them a natural terrarium and observe their behaviors. Green anoles and rough green snake are both great, active reptiles that do well in such a setup.

I have yet to find watching my BP attempt to escape his enclosure (a nightly occurance) boring. The body strength of snakes never ceases to amaze me. So I enjoy watching him try to lift an insane amount of his body of the ground, usually resulting in a water dish belly flop.

I'm actually thinking of adding a little Euro to my collection.

I love taking my baby bearded dragon out of his tank and let him run around my living room. Supervised of course. I love watching him climb onto the couch, and run around licking everything :P he's like "hmm, idk what this is, let's see if it tastes good" lol

Many small lizards like green anoles are super active! They can be housed in groups from what I've heard, so watching them interact with each other could be very interesting! Also, crested geckos are pretty fun, though I'm not sure about their activity level. Arboreal lizards in general should make fun display animals, especially if you're willing to pimp out their cage!

I'd have to say Uros, or Beardies, or Tortoises. :P

I don't remember exactly what they were called, but a friend of mine had sand skinks. They were extremely amusing. One second they are there, one second they aren't. I would watch them for long periods of time, completely baffled. The first time I saw the cage, I was sure it was empty. The second time, I thought there was 1. I concluded there were at least 5.

I love watching savanah monitors, When beardies are active they are fun as well
