    Goodbye Zoey
Lost my (really my sons, but I have raised her) 4 year old Boxer Zoey just hours ago while having what I thought was a simple spaying procedure at the vets office. All I can get from the vet is "We don't know, she just quit breathing and passed away" I feel horrible because my son wanted to breed her and I convinced him to get her spayed instead. I know it's not my fault...things happen, but it is just hard knowing that if I would not have convinced him to have her fixed that she would still be with us today. Love and miss ya Zoey!

Oh, that's so sad. I am so sorry. Sucks when things are out of your control. Hang in there, it will get better.

That SUCKS. So sorry to hear. My wife got our dog spayed recently against my wishes and we had some complications as well, however she is still with us. Sorry to hear, I know that nothing but time will help heal. I still get down thinking about my mini-dachshund that we lost about a year ago. Keep your head up.
