    question about water bowls..
This large water dish has rounded sides.. I was wondering if I can put pebbles/marbles in the dish so it doesn't tip over. Or if not maybe a large rock?
Thanks!:snake: (it's about ten inches across)

If you use substrate, dig out a place for the bowl and stick it around the bowl so it doesn't tip. I dunno about putting stuff inside...I do t guess it would hurt. I use plastic "dog" bowls from Wal-Mart that are about $4.00 and work great.

I bet that bowl could be tipped pretty easy regardless of what you put in it. Its just to easy to get under that one.

Get a actual pet water bowl. Or already a heavy lipless bowl with a good flat bottom.

Pet stores have ceramic bowls that don't cost to much. In the long run any nice snake bowl are pretty cheap cause they can last you forever if well taken care of.

This is what I use for my BP

Its a nice product. They have cheaper smaller ones that are just a great.

This is the one we use, but we get them from our local Fry's/Kroger for about $5- for the 7.5" one.
They work excellent! Don't tip over and can just be thrown in the dishwasher.

I use the dog crock bowls OR if you have tippers I like the heavier ceramic bowls used for baking: $2 at Walmart.

Ha I actually have something that is going to save you all so much money!!! Go to goodwill!!! They have tons and tons of heavy dishes for your snakes. All you have to do is go home and wash them out very well with vinegar. Dont go to goodwill one day and just expect to find all of them just sitting there, it takes a certain eye. I usually pay my local (and surrounding) goodwill stores a visit about twice a week. Most of them are $.49 -$.99 ! Ive
gotten all 21 of my snakes water bowls from there and not
one has spilt one. This is my most recent one. :) haha http://img.tapatalk.com/a6934813-abb7-ccfe.jpg

And others I have picked up from there
