    Sooo excited (and freaking out)
I didn't want to post on here until the day of since I'm already way too excited and I don't to get myself moreso.

We've got a new pair of babies coming from Joe Ellis, a male albino and a female spider 100% het albino! Here's the male: http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...32403395_n.jpg
    Female: http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...20230211_n.jpg
    Father of the female: http://www.facebook.com/ajax/messagi...C0M66jG8WD3HO3

So I'm super excited, especially to have a spider cuz I've wanted another one ever since the first one we got (one of the first 2 balls we got) wouldn't eat and we traded her back to the seller for Snizzy.

Now the part I'm freaking out about. I had updating my address with Paypal just before the transaction and it didn't save it to this transaction. I did send him a message on FB giving the right address but I guess he didn't get it. So today I'm at work super excited about getting them, I've got a snake-knowledgeable-ish friend at home to receive them. I'm tracking the package and right at the expected delivery time it says "delivery exception." I look into it and it says "recipient moved." So I call FedEx and they do have my old address, I explain things and the guy tells me that the sender will have to contact them.

I find Joe's number on his FB and texted him. He called me right back and then called them to reroute the package. They told him that they are on the truck and they will call him back. He calls back a bit later and they told him they could meet me but at a location I can't possibly get to in the time-frame they want. I call them and they tell me there's no way to have them sent to the correct address today and no way I can meet the driver anywhere, that they will stay on the truck until 6 and then be brought to the facility where I can go pick them up. It's 103* out right now. I'm so scared they'll be dead I wanna cry.

Joe has been so helpful and prompt through all this.

Okay so Joe finally convinced them to meet me again and I drove illegally fast to where they said. I waited a while,.flagged down a very confused UPS driver thinking it was them and finally met the right driver.
The box was HOT on the outside. I brought it into my car and started ripping it open. The inside was hot. I'm freaking out worse at this point. I get to the bags and they aren't moving and they're very warm. I cut the male's bag open and looked in. He wasn't moving, I thought he was dead but then he flicked his tongue! I pulled him out and handed him to my somewhat snake-phobic mom who was riding with me from work. His body was very warm and you could tell he was a bit out of it. The female was also very warm and out of it.

We rode home with them on our laps in the AC and they visibly perked up. My mom even let him stay on her lap even though she kinda sucked in a breath every time he moved. She really doesn't like snakes much. Once the little girl perked up she started hissing and nipping at me until I put my shirt over her. She has a right to be pissed.

They're in their tubs now and both seem okay. They're both gorgeous too.

If Joe hadn't finally convinced them to meet me I'm very sure they would have died. Thanks Joe! He continued texting me to make sure I got them too and apologizing for the whole ordeal.

SO Glad you got them safely! Oh my goodness those poor little snakes. That's some really hot temps to be dealing with. Awww

They'll probably have a bit of 'attitude' for the next little while after all that, haha

Me too. The male was just chill as can be. He even let me pet his head, although I was trying to get him to quit exploring, not just petting. The box and everything was so hot I wanted them out in the AC the whole drive. He's got the coolest jaw line, his head looks very muscular and chiseled looking.
