    Bee's or Pastel Lesser's or Firefly's?
I am planning on getting my second BP in about a month to pair with my pastel male. The 3 morphs that I am into are bumblebee, lesser, and fire. I am looking to stay under $400 for this snake, but I know I can afford all of these morphs. What I was wondering was if any of these morphs and their combos would be a better choice to invest in? I like all of the morphs the same, but I am not sure if all of them would be a good investment. So lets hear it, would you rather produce killer bees, pastel lessers, or fireflys.

Also, is it good practice to hold back hatchlings and breed them back to their parents? I ask this because I would love to produce a BEL, but I don't know if this is ethical or not. For example: Pastel Male x Lesser female, hold back lesser male, breed back to lesser female= BEL!
One final question, is it all that common for super lessers to have bug eyes or other abnormalities?

    Thanks, Benek

Lesser are known to possible produce some bug eyed babies. You choices are completely up to you and what you want to produce in the future. I would say go with the fire. I personally am planning on picking up a firefly female soon. Bumble bee us good but I would personally get a male bumble bee since he can breed to more females and is also a 2 gene bp. If you can afford all of them then I would say pick up a 2 gene female instead. Like firefly, pastel lesser, or even a spider lesser. That way you will be able to produce a lot more offspring variation. If your budget is $400-500 you might be able to get 2 single gene females at a show.

I personally would lean towards lesser or fire just bc i dont really like the spider gene. Out of a fire and lesser which do you like better?

I mean both fireflies and pastel lessers are very cool. And then from that you can make Black Eyed Leucies (super fire) or BLue Eyed Leucies (super lesser). I would probably go the fire route just bc i personally like fireflies ALOT. Although Slim has an awesome pastel lesser, so theyre a close second.

Its fine to breed back the baby to the mom. Super lessers can have bug eyes but its not super common. I wouldnt really be too worried about it either bc bug eyes dont really hurt the snake at all and they usually live a normal life just fine. Since the bug eyes seem to be randomn i would say its even ok to breed a bug eyed individual but im not 100% sure if thats true or not. If you were really worried about it then when you sell the offspring from the clutch just buy a butter or a mojo male to breed to the lesser mom. Youll still get the same exact super form but i dont think that theres a possibiliy for bug eyes.

    Huh?
    Super lessers maybe, not lessers...

I would choose fire or lesser myself.
Lesser because I own the hottest pastel lesser ever and you can't go wrong with a pastel lesser clutch :P

Well, my preferred morph would be Bee's. But, as some people have said, spiders have some quirks about them. Lessers also have some really cool morphs you can make. So, I'll choose lesser for now.

Hmm. I am partial to bees. I like the spider gene though. I also have a butter and mojo and am hoping for bel's in the future. Pick what you like best!
