    New Hog Eating F/T!!!!
I got my hog which is a year old from the guy who bred her. He had a feeder colony so she has always eaten live pinks. I was alittle concerned b/c I have no source for live near me. I got her on feeding day and no surprise she showed no interest in the f/t pink I presented her that day.

Today I offered f/t pink by hand and after alittle hissing she came up and took the pink like a little puppy. I have never seen a more gentle feeding. She is so cute it is unreal.

I am so excited that she ate!!!

Now to the reason for this post. The first attempt I used my tongs but she showed no interest. I also tried laying it in with her but this also got no interest. Today I feed her by hand like the breeder told me he feed her, and success!

I was wondering how other hoggy owners feed theirs, tongs, let lay, hand, etc.?

If she continues eating so nice and gentle I would love to be able to feed her by hand forever. She took it so softly that I didn't even realize she had started eating for a few seconds. This is my first hog, are most this gentle? She is captive bred.
