None Albinos from breeding two hets... possibile?
    Hi.
Do you think there is a possible to get none Albinos (for example) when you breeding Het. Albino pair? Please let me
know if you heard about those ceases. How often can it be?

If you are dealing with possible hets then it is very possible that a clutch results in no visuals (homozygous recessive)

You can even go multiple seasons and still not get anything.

It all comes down to the % het and what you are pairing... as well as chance.

its absolutely possible, every egg has a 3/4 chance of not being albino when breeding a pair of hets together

Some people assume when you breed a pair of hets, that 1 in 4 eggs will be albino. It's not the case, each egg only has a 1 in 4 chance of being albino. You could get a whole clutch if albinos technically, but also you could never get one. Its all down to each eggs odds coming up.

It's absolutely possible, I've done it SEVERAL times. I've got a pair of het clowns that I've produced three clutches from now and have never produced a live clown. I know they're hets because 2 clutches ago I did produce a clown that died upon hatching. However I've produced a dozen live babies from this pair and not a clown amongst them. You have a 25% chance PER EGG of producing the desired mutation from a het to het breeding, but sometimes the odds just aren't in your favor. If odds had held firm, I'd have 3 clowns from this pair by now.

Aaron, this is actually untrue. You either have 100% hets or you don't. The percentage of the parental stock has nothing to do with chance. You can however, miss on hitting even with 100% hets. You can actually miss on albino to het if you're really unlucky.

As everyone else said, very possible. I got zero albinos from a het to het pairing last year.
